Octopus Free Lunch Plan Terms and Conditions

By signing up to the Octopus Free Lunch plan, you agree to these terms, which are in addition to the Octopus customer terms and conditions and privacy policy.

1. To be eligible for the Free Lunch plan, you must:

   1. Have a smart meter that actively communicates with us, and

   2. Be a residential user not a business.
      
      

2. While on this plan, you will receive free electricity usage between 11am and 2pm, seven days a week (the Free Lunch). Any relevant daily charge will still apply for the full day.
   
   

3. Your use of our Free Lunch must not be excessive, it must be fair and ordinary use for a residential user. If your average Free Lunch usage per week exceeds 200kWh, your usage will be considered excessive: 

   1. If your use is excessive, we will notify you once.

   2. If your excessive usage continues after a request to alter the nature of your usage, we reserve the right to move you to an alternative plan with no Free Period and/or charge you for any electricity usage in excess of 200kWh per week during the Free Lunch, at the standard applicable rate. We will make this decision at our sole discretion.
